Every year again. The Unicode Consortium has now created and approved the new list of emojis and published it on Emojipedia.
The new emojis for 2020 have now been announced. A total of 117 new faces, animals, gestures and more await us. The new features in Emoji Version 13 include ninjas, parents, food, animals and a new gesture - the Italian hand gesture. Emojipedia explained:
As announced today by the Unicode Consortium, the 117 new emojis are part of Emoji 13.0 and will appear on most platforms in the second half of 2020. As part of today's announcement, Unicode has released data files and charts for Emoji 13.0, with the example images shown in the charts for contributors' guidance.
As usual, the individual emoticons are available in several skin colors. The announcement states:

As with all new emoji releases, the appearance of each emoji varies across platforms. The images shown on this page are original designs created by Emojipedia in a glossy style to show a potential way of how these may look when implemented on major platforms such as iOS, Android, WhatsApp or Twitter.
As always, the new emojis will appear on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch in fall 2020. If we take the past few years as an example, the new emoticons could appear under a later version of iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS 10.16 and watchOS 7 from Apple. (Image: Unicode / Emojipedia)
