The official jury of the Golden Globe Awards today announced the nominations for the awards ceremony in early January 2020. The Apple TV+ series "The Morning Show" was nominated in three categories, including "Best Drama Series". Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon were nominated for the "Best Actress in a Drama Series" category. Today's announcement is a big step forward for Apple and could cause a sensation in early January.
The Morning Show explores the cutthroat world of morning news and the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning. Through the lens of two complicated women working to navigate the minefield of high-octane jobs while facing crises in both their personal and professional lives, The Morning Show is an unapologetically frank drama that examines the power dynamics between women and men, and women and women in the workplace.
