Does iOS 12 authenticate an iPad with FaceID?
The developer and iOS leak specialist Steve Troughton-Smith now sees the new iPad with FaceID confirmed. The reason is probably simple: the AvatarKit libraries are said to be in the iPad's iOS 12 firmware.
AvatarKit is not available without the TrueDepth Cam - so the iPad comes with facial recognition. So autumn remains exciting!
