In the middle of the year, Apple announced that the Testflight app would be released on macOS. After a beta was launched in August, the application is now available for all users to download from the Mac App Store.
TestFlight lets users sign up to download and install beta versions of apps for iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and now macOS. Developers can invite up to 10,000 beta testers per app. The application also allows users to form groups to test different builds simultaneously.
Testflight for macOS: Monterey is required
TestFlight is a quick and easy way to test beta versions of apps for macOS, and then send valuable feedback to developers before they publish their apps to the App Store. Developers invite testers via email or a public link. When you test a beta app, Apple collects crash logs, usage information, and feedback you submit and shares that information with the developer. The developer may use that information to improve their app and related products. Apple may use crash logs and usage information to improve products and services.
