Apple Music is sponsoring the NFL Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show and has now released a trailer featuring Rihanna.
The short, 30-second teaser features Rihanna, who will be the headliner of the event. Super Bowl LVII will take place on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Apple announced in September 2022 that it would sponsor the halftime show after Pepsi withdrew from the sponsorship in February 2022. Oliver Schusser, Apple's VP of Apple Music and Beats, commented on the event as follows:
Super Bowl Halftime Show: Apple Music as new sponsor
Music and sports hold a special place in our hearts, so we're thrilled that Apple Music will be part of the biggest stage for music and football. We look forward to even more epic performances next year and beyond with the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Apple Music is also offering a spot in its app highlighting the trailer and including playlists from Rihanna, NFL player playlists and videos from previous halftime shows so fans can "refresh" their memory. According to the NFL, the 2022 Super Bowl LVI halftime show was watched by over 120 million people. (Photo by Denis Makarenko / Bigstockphoto)
