Jack Kerouac was an American writer known as a pioneer of the Beat Generation. The Beat Generation is a group of writers who created a literary subculture in the 1950s and influenced post-war American culture and politics. This collaboration is a tribute to Kerouac's timeless classic On the Road, known for its vivid descriptions of the American landscape at sunset. Pitaka wrote in the press release:

The first work of the PITAKA Weaving+ series “Sunset Moment” is a tribute to the moment of sunset in Jack Kerouac’s “On the Road” and to the freedom of thought and belief behind the spirit of the road.

As mentioned, the edition of this case is extremely limited. Pitaka will only sell 1,500 copies of this iPhone case in total. In addition, the case is only available for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
