The new streaming service Disney+ is ready to launch. It will debut in three different countries next week.
Disney+ launches on November 12th in the United States, Canada and the Netherlands. Australia and New Zealand will follow on November 19th. But when will other countries be able to enjoy the Disney magic? Previously, a launch in European countries had been scheduled for 2020. However, there was no specific date. That has now changed. Disney CEO Bob Iger announced Disney+ for some European countries yesterday evening. Accordingly, the new streaming service will launch on March 31st, 2020 in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Great Britain. The service will be available on LG and Samsung Smart TVs, Roku streaming devices, Apple TV, iOS, Android, Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Amazon's Fire TV devices.
Dates for other markets are to be announced in the coming weeks. The monthly subscription price was not commented on. It also remains unclear how many of the films and series will be available in each country at launch. (Photo by tanaonte / Bigstockphot)
