The popular music streaming service Spotify has announced a new app update for iOS via a press release. The application appears in a refreshed design.
The new Spotify version for iPhone brings a refreshed look and interesting features, including a new shuffle play button, easy-to-use action lines and a cover for the track rows. This is what the press release:
It's bigger. It's bolder. It's better than ever. No, we're not talking about an artist's new sound, but the refreshed look that iOS users will enjoy on Spotify mobile starting today. Both Free and Premium subscribers will benefit from a sleeker, user-friendly interface with a fresh design and trackable icons that make playing your favorite song or playlist as easy as tapping a button.
Available in the App Store today
The press release goes on to highlight the individual functions. While the new shuffle button has been improved, the action bar will now be displayed in the “central part of the screen”. On the subject of covers, it says.
We now show a song's cover art in all views except Album view, making it easier than ever to navigate the app and find songs you know. We also highlight songs you've already "liked" by showing the heart icon next to the song name.
