Apple has introduced new straps for the Apple Watch in a press release. They are part of the Pride Edition and can be purchased in two versions.
Apple today released two new straps for the Apple Watch presentedWhile one Pride Edition bracelet can be found in the sports bracelet category, the second version is called the Pride Edition Nike. The company has introduced numerous Pride bracelets in recent years, but this is the first time that Nike has been involved. The update to the range is not a complete surprise, however. The current beta of watchOS 6.2.5 has received two new watch faces to match, so an update was already expected.
Available exclusively from Apple
The Pride Edition Sport band is hand-assembled from individual strips of colored fluoroelastomer. The strips are then machine-punched and compression-molded together. This process results in subtle variations in the wavy rainbow design, making each band artfully one-of-a-kind.
The Pride Edition Sport Loop Band, introduced in 2019, has been discontinued as part of today's update. The new bracelets can now be purchased exclusively from Apple for around 49 euros.
