The new streaming service Apple TV+ went live on November 1, 2019 and has been very popular so far - despite a small media library. One of the reasons for this is Apple's promotion - when purchasing a certain Apple product, the user receives free access for a year - but there is an activation period.
Anyone who buys a new Apple product after September 10, 2019 - iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV or Mac - will receive one year of free access to Apple TV+. As soon as the new device has been activated and is in use, users can take out a trial subscription to Apple TV+. They will then be shown the free year for activation. Now the first users who qualify for it but have not yet activated it seem to be receiving push notifications from Apple.
Enjoy Apple Originals for five euros a month
This is a warning that your right to the free trial year will expire if it is not redeemed promptly. In total, each user has around three months to activate the whole thing before it expires. Apple TV+ usually costs 4.99 euros a month and offers access to Apple original content. Access is via the Apple TV application, which is available on various Smart TVs as well as Apple devices. You can find out how to complete the subscription below.
New series available
As of today, the anthology series “Little America” is available to all registered Apple TV+ subscribers. The Apple Original, produced by Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon, covers the stories of immigrants in eight half-hour episodes. (Photo by hadrian / Bigstockphoto)
Inspired by the true stories featured in Epic Magazine, “Little America” will go beyond the headlines and look at the funny, romantic, sincere, inspiring and surprising stories of immigrants in America because they are more relevant today than ever before.
