Popular accessory maker Nomad today announced two new products, including a new USB-C PD charger and new sports cables.
The 30W USB-C GaN Power Adapter is a small, minimalist charger with an output of 30W that supports fast charging of the iPhone. Before we get started, let's first clarify what GaN technology is all about, at least for those who aren't familiar with it. Gallium nitride (GaN) technology uses fewer components overall than standard silicon chargers, which is why GaN-based power adapters require much smaller housings while still being able to pack a lot of power. So, let's move on. This accessory costs $29.95 and does not come with a USB-C cable. In terms of size, the Nomad charger is only slightly larger than Apple's 5W USB-A charger.

So it's small but powerful. In addition, Nomad is now offering a new collection of sports cables, which they say are similar to the existing Kevlar cables but are cheaper and have a nylon braid. We advertise the whole thing as follows:
Nomad 30W charger with sports cable: MagSafe accessories are also supported
Charge your Apple device quickly and efficiently. The Sport Cable supports fast charging, so you don't have to worry about limiting the charging speed. Keep your cable organized with the integrated cable tie. The cable tie is convenient for packing your cable or wrapping unused cable lengths during charging, solving all your cable management problems.
Three versions are available: USB-A to Lightning, USB-C to Lightning, and USB-C to USB-C. The Lightning cables are MFi-certified by Apple and cost $24.95 each. You can quickly charge an iPhone using the 30W power adapter and one of the USB-C sport cables.

This means that both products in combination charge modern iPhones up to 50 percent in less than 30 minutes. Please note: Nomad does NOT supply the charger with an international power adapter attachment. This must be purchased separately. But that's not all.
