Apple has now officially released iOS 15.3, iPadOS 15.3, tvOS 15.3, audioOS 15.3 for the HomePod and watchOS 8.4 as well as macOS Monterey 12.2 for all users worldwide.
The new versions are available to all users as an over-the-air update. iOS 15.3 does not contain any major new features or improvements and is, on the whole, relatively insignificant. The focus is on bug fixes and improvements to system performance and stability. However, the update also closes an important security hole within Safari and is therefore highly recommended. In the release notes for iOS 15.3, Apple writes:
iOS 15.3 includes bug fixes and security updates for your iPhone and is recommended for all users.
As for watchOS 8.4, the update is also supposed to improve the performance of the Apple Watch. However, the new version also fixes a bug that can cause some Apple Watch chargers to not work properly with the Apple Watch. (Photo by Shahid Jamil / Bigstockphoto)
