Just yesterday, Apple presented revised MacBook Pros to the surprise of the community. What makes these devices stand out is not only their power but also their price.
15” for a lot of money
If you order a 15” model with 2 TB of flash memory, maximum computing power and 16 GB of RAM, you pay 5,079 euros – the same as before. But now the device can also be extremely tuned.
Instead of 16 GB RAM, a whopping 32 GB RAM can be installed for an additional charge of 480 euros. If a 2 TB SSD is not enough for you, you can upgrade the storage to 4 TB - that costs 3,840 euros more. So if you want a fully upgraded MacBook Pro 15”, you will have to shell out 7,959 euros - exactly the same as a Mac Pro with the best hardware.
3rd generation butterfly keyboard
According to Apple, the MacBooks will come with a redesigned keyboard for quieter typing. The sound will also be better.
Only a few selected journalists have already been shown the devices by Apple.
They say that the typing noises have actually become quieter and a more pleasant sound can be heard when the keys are struck.
Apple did not want to answer the question of whether these third-generation keyboards have become more robust. However, this could also have something to do with the current class action lawsuits regarding the predecessors. So it remains to be seen what future test reports reveal.
