The network provider Vodafone is once again struggling with a massive disruption – the reason is the high temperatures.
By 7:30 a.m., allestörungen.de had already received over 800 reports from various users. They were complaining primarily about total outages in the Vodafone mobile and landline networks. But internet customers were not spared from the disruption either. A company spokesperson told Focus Online on request that individual servers at the Düsseldorf-Benrath site had failed due to overheating. This affected around 17,000 mobile customers, according to the Vodafone spokesperson. According to initial information, the outage should be resolved by lunchtime - until then, the affected customers will not be able to make calls and surf the internet with the usual Vodafone quality, according to the press spokesperson.
