An internal iOS 13 version from Apple seems to have some new features for the Apple Watch – MacRumors reports.
Last night we released a new feature for sleep monitoring with the help of the Apple Watch - now details of further functions have been published. These all come from an internal iOS 13 version - according to MacRumors. In the course of the publication, a new function called "Schooltime" is reported. This is said to be an offshoot of the well-known "Do not disturb" feature. The new mode is supposed to prevent access to certain applications and mute notifications. Similar to "Do not disturb", it should be possible to set up exceptions. The exact functionality of "Schooltime" is currently unknown - it may be possible to configure it in a similar way to "Screen time".
Introduction of new functions still uncertain
In addition to the new mode, the internal iOS 13 version contains references to new Apple Watch watch faces and complications. Some of the code snippets indicate complications for navigation - these are probably read from the GPS module and barometer of the Apple Watch.
The new sleep monitoring will also have its own complication - according to MacRumors. Since the information comes from an internal iOS 13 build from Apple and has not yet been officially presented, it could of course be the case that not everything will be included in the final version of iOS 13 and watchOS 6. On September 10, Apple will probably present three new iPhone models and the fifth generation of the Apple Watch. In addition to new hardware products, the latest software is also expected.
