This week, Apple stopped selling the Magic Keyboard with numeric keypad, the Magic Mouse 2 and the Magic Trackpad 2 accessories for the Mac in Space Gray.
With the launch of the iMac Pro in 2017, Apple introduced matching Magic accessories, including a mouse, keyboard and trackpad, in space gray. Initially, the accessories were sold exclusively with the iMac Pro. In March 2018, the accessories hit the shelves and could be purchased separately. Now that's it. Last month, Apple marked the corresponding accessories with the note "While supplies last". Now the company has completely removed the products from the online store. Accordingly, the accessories are now only available in silver. If you like the gray color, you can still buy the accessories at Amazon acquire.
M1 iMac brings new colors into play
With the new M1 iMac introduced in April, Apple also introduced a new version of the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID (compatible only with M1 Macs), as well as colorful and slightly redesigned versions of the Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse. However, these accessories are currently only sold with the M1 iMac and are not available separately. The fact that the space gray accessories have been discontinued does not necessarily mean that a future iMac will no longer be available in space gray. Instead, we expect that any future space gray iMac will include the latest versions of the accessories with Touch ID and other changes.
