Apple recently had to resolve a problem with throttling processors. Now new trouble is on the horizon.
Users of the current MacBook Pro models report noise during audio playback. The crackling and popping occurs primarily through the integrated speakers, but can also occur through the headphone jack. The problem does not seem to exist when AirPods are connected.
iTunes, Youtube, Spotify
The error occurs in various application scenarios. It doesn't matter whether the user is playing a song via iTunes, watching a video on YouTube or has Spotify running. A delayed sound playback was also detected. Restarting the device only solves the problem temporarily; the playback problems reoccur after a certain amount of time. Apple has not yet commented on this.
Since the company has already had such “features” on iPhone and MacBook devices in the past and was able to solve them with a software update, it can be assumed that this will be the case again.
