The new M2 iPad Pro is finally here. It has the same design, display and cameras as last year's iPad Pro. However, it offers an additional advantage in terms of performance thanks to the M2 Apple Silicon chip.
Although it's a relatively small upgrade, there are some notable changes, new features, and things you should know about the new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Below we've put together four key points:
M2 iPad Pro: 16 GB RAM is reserved for the TB models
- “iPad Pro” is now printed on the back of the iPad Pro, unlike before.
- The new models will now be delivered with a braided USB-C charging cable, which is also available separately for 25 euros.
- Although the iPhone 14 removed the SIM tray in the US, the Cellular models of the new iPad Pro still have a SIM tray worldwide. The iPad Pro still supports eSIM.
- iPad Pro now supports ProRes video recording in 4K at up to 60 FPS with the 12MP wide camera.
- The iPad Pro's 16GB of RAM will continue to be offered in 1TB and 2TB storage configurations. Other configurations will have 8GB of RAM.
Prices for the 11-inch iPad Pro start at 1,049 euros for the WiFi model and 1,249 euros for the WiFi + Cellular model, while the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is available from 1,499 euros and 1,649 euros respectively.
