Apple will soon begin shipping the 11- and 12.9-inch M1 iPad Pro models, several Twitter users report.
We have not yet received any shipping notifications. Apple has also not given an exact delivery date for those who have pre-ordered a new M1 iPad Pro. However, the tablets are expected to ship from May 21st. Many users who pre-ordered in time received estimated delivery dates between May 21st and 28th. Now report various pre-orderers, after which the status of the order was changed to "Preparing for shipment". Accordingly, the first orders should actually be delivered on May 21st. The M1 iMac models and the second-generation Apple TV 4K orders that were placed at the same time could also soon change to the "Preparing for shipment" status. However, there have been no reports of this so far.
M1 iPad Pro: Available from 879 euros
Stocks of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro are very limited. Anyone who pre-orders such a device now must expect an estimated waiting time of around five to six weeks. The 11-inch models, on the other hand, are easier to get. The M1 iPad Pro models are identical in design to the previous generation iPad Pro models. But inside they are equipped with the same M1 chip that is also used in the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac mini. They also support Thunderbolt connectivity. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro also has a mini-LED "Liquid Retina XDR" display, which makes the device slightly thicker. The 11-inch iPad Pro is available from just 879 euros, while the 12.9-inch model costs at least 1,199 euros. Depending on the device and features, the whole thing can cost up to 2,579 euros.
