Rumors that Apple is working on an iMac with a brand new design have been circulating since last summer. Now the supposed Apple Silicon model has been leaked.
Youtuber Jon Prosser claims to have learned more details about the upcoming iMac 2021 and Mac Pro mini from a source. The design was also revealed. If the leak is true, the iMac will get a new case and possibly come in five colors.

In his latest video Prosser comments on reports of an iMac redesign. He explains that Apple not only wants to impress with a redesign but also with nostalgia. In addition to a similar design language to Apple's Pro Display XDR and the new iPad, new colors are apparently also on the way.

Based on rumors and leaks, Prosser provided concept images that are supposed to show the new model. Like the new fourth-generation iPad Air, the 2021 iMac could also appear in five different colors. The choices are said to be black, white, green, blue and rose gold. But Prosser emphasizes that the images are primarily based on current prototypes.

iMac 2021 and much more: The year could be exciting
It is not yet 100 percent certain whether Apple will actually offer all colors in the end. In addition, the YouTuber also shared a picture that is supposed to show the supposed Mac Pro mini, which has already been announced several times by various sources.

What Prosser has to say in his latest video basically mirrors previous statements from Bloomberg - just with matching images. Gurman has already explained that Apple will replace the 27- and 21.5-inch models with two new versions. Both devices will also feature Apple's in-house processor, a further development of the M1 chip. In addition to new iMac models and a smaller Mac Pro, Cupertino is also expected to introduce a new external monitor that will be cheaper than the Pro Display XDR. The devices will probably be introduced in the second half of the year. (Image: Jon Prosser / Front Page Tech)
