Apple's latest announcements have once again caused excitement in the tech world. The official iPhone 15 event 'Wonderlust' is all about innovation and groundbreaking technologies. In addition to the highly anticipated Apple Watch updates, the iPhone 15 will be the main focus of the event on September 12th. Under the motto 'Wonderlust', not only will a look be taken at the technological future, but also at the suspected colors of the iPhone 15 Pro series.
The stage is set for the launch of four new iPhones during the fall event:
- iPhone 15
- iPhone 15 Plus
- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will in many ways incorporate the impressive features of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. These include the powerful A16 Bionic chip, the innovative Dynamic Island technology and an impressive 48 megapixel camera.

In addition to these upgrades, there are fresh color options and the integration of advanced USB-C charging technology. But the real progress comes with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
- A17 Bionic Chip: The first 3-nanometer processor in a smartphone
- Action Button: A programmable button that replaces the mute switch
- Titanium frame: A lighter material that replaces stainless steel
- Design refresh: thinner bezels and gently curved edges
- USB-C charging port: Replaces the previous Lightning port
- Improved battery life: For even more uninterrupted use
- Periscope zoom lens (iPhone 15 Pro Max only): For exceptional camera features
- New colors gray and dark blue: instead of gold and violet
- Increased storage capacity: So you can save all your memories
- Higher entry price: $1099 and $1199, for even better technology experiences
With the switch from Lightning to the industry standard USB-C, a transformation in iPhone accessories is also on the horizon, possibly including the AirPods, as Apple is moving to Lightning across its entire product line. Another highlight: Apple is expected to replace its leather iPhone cases with a new woven fabric version.
Ready for something new
The future is exciting, as the latest versions of the Apple Watch, the Series 9 and Ultra 2, are also expected to feature a faster processor for the first time in several generations. Apple is also planning a darker color option for the Titanium Ultra model and there are rumors of an innovative woven nylon strap with a magnetic closure. The clock is ticking - September 12th is approaching. The event will be broadcast at 7 p.m. German time and although it was recorded in advance, the press will still be there at Apple Park to experience the innovations first hand.
