There currently seem to be problems in iTunes and the App Store. Users around the world are complaining that they are unable to make purchases.
Currently, it may happen that an error message appears when purchasing via third-party applications. It contains the following message: "The iTunes Store cannot process purchases at this time. Please try again later"The error does not appear for every iPhone or iPad user – while some are still able to make purchases, others are affected by the bug prevented from doing so. We were unable to detect the error on any of our devices.
However, a large number of users seem to be affected, as reports in our own community and other forums are increasing significantly. What triggered the bug is not yet known - Apple's own "system status"-Website currently shows no restrictions. As soon as we know more, we will update the article for you.
