Apple has launched a new survey aimed at iPad mini 4 users. It covers, among other things, the display size and other questions about tablet usage habits.
Apple is believed to be launching the iPad mini 6 this fall. The device is expected to feature a brand new design, more power and a larger display. Now a new survey has emerged suggesting that Apple is seeking even more input on the future development of the range. Apple's survey, conducted by IT Home discovered surveyed Chinese iPad mini 4 users about the device. While the current iPad mini 5 has the same design and display as the iPad mini 4, the survey still focuses on the previous model.
Apple's survey is only aimed at iPad mini 4 owners
One question asks whether the iPad mini 4's display is the right size for the user, with responses ranging from "a little too small" to "a little too big." The survey also covers usage habits, asking users what apps they use on their iPad in portrait or landscape mode. Details about the accessories used by iPad mini owners are also sought, including whether they use keyboards, headphones, speakers, cases, and other items. Of course, Apple also wants to know if those users use other third-party hardware. Given the lead times for design and production, the results of this survey are unlikely to affect Apple's product launches in 2021 or early 2022 - but it's interesting nonetheless.
