Sales of the iPhone Xr began on October 26th in over 50 countries. Although there were rumors of initial production problems, Apple was able to produce enough devices for the market launch. Walk-in customers were not disappointed yesterday either.
When a new iPhone is launched on the market, long waiting times are not unusual. Nevertheless, Apple has improved in recent years. Of course, demand also plays a major role. In addition to ordering online, there is also the option of picking up the device from the Apple Store. Anyone who wants to order an iPhone Xr now will have to be patient. Delivery times have increased worldwide, so that delivery can take place in early November at the earliest. It remains to be seen whether the iPhone Xr will be a bestseller for "normal" customers, as analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimates.
