Sales of the iPhone Xr will start on October 26th. The colorful iPhone has been available for pre-order since last Friday. Apple has now published the prices for service and repairs.
As expected, repairing the LCD device is significantly cheaper than the OLED models. For example, replacing the display without Apple Care+ costs 221.10 euros.
For the OLED models, this costs 311.10 euros. For an iPhone Xs Max, a whopping 361.10 euros are due. Other damage to the iPhone Xr costs 431.10 euros outside of the warranty period.
iPhone Xr with Apple Care+
Broken displays under Apple Care+ cost 29 euros as usual. In the case of accidental damage, the customer pays 99 euros. If the user decides to send their device to Apple, there is an additional shipping charge of 12.10 euros. The price for Apple Care+ for an iPhone Xr model is 169 euros.
