PlayStation, in collaboration with Backbone, has unveiled a brand new official PlayStation edition of the Backbone One controller for iPhone.
Mobile gaming has been particularly popular for several years. Various manufacturers have recognized this and developed corresponding accessories, including Backbone. A brand new iPhone controller has now been introduced, the Backbone One PlayStation Edition. In the press release Backbone CEO Maneet Khaira commented:
I'm excited to introduce Backbone One - PlayStation Edition, an officially licensed mobile controller for iPhone users.
The PlayStation Edition is based on the original Backbone One for iPhone, but comes with an official PlayStation license, which is reflected in the color scheme and PlayStation buttons.
Mobile gaming for iPhone users and PlayStation fans
With the Backbone One, you can connect the controller to your iPhone and play any PS5 or PS4 game over broadband internet using PlayStation Remote Play.

In addition, the Backbone One also works with games from the App Store and other streaming services that support controllers. This includes not only Apple Arcade titles and App Store games, but also Xbox Game Pass. There is also now a Backbone app that is specifically tailored to the PlayStation and includes custom glyphs and a dedicated section for new PlayStation releases and updates.
Compatible with all iPhone models
Backbone One is powered by your iPhone and therefore does not need to be charged separately. The accessory also supports passthrough charging.

So you can charge your iPhone while you play. The new Backbone One – PlayStation Edition will be available at launch in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands and the UK. The controller is compatible with all iPhone models, including the iPhone 13. The controller is priced at 119.99 euros and is available in both white and black. (Image: Backbone)
