Accessory maker Nomad today announced the Base Station Mini, a new single-device charging option that powers an iPhone, AirPods or other Qi-enabled device.
Nomad says the Base Station Mini is ideal for the nightstand or desk as it takes up little space. It's square in shape and not much bigger than the AirPods, so it's useful for those who prefer a simple, space-saving charger. But beware - it's not a MagSafe charger.

This means that when charging an iPhone device, the whole thing is limited to the familiar 7.5W. With Android devices, the charging process is faster thanks to the 15W.
Base Station Mini: Nomad stays true to its design
Like all other Base Station models, the mini version has a padded black leather surface and a zinc frame. The Base Station Mini comes with a 2-meter USB-C cable - however, a power adapter is not included.

If you need a power adapter, Nomad offers a new 20W USB-C power adapter that is ideal for use with the Base Station Mini or other devices, including Apple's MagSafe charger - kill two birds with one stone?!

The Base Station Mini costs approximately $59.95, and the 20W USB-C Power Adapter costs $18.95. Note: If ordered together with the charger, the adapter costs only $13.95. Both products are available for purchase starting today on the Nomad website. (Image: Nomad)
