Starting tomorrow, the iPhone 13 series will officially be available in stores. Now pictures have surfaced showing an iPhone 13 from the inside.
While a professional teardown of the devices will appear online in the coming days and weeks, Sonny Dickson, an occasional leaker, has posted pictures on Twitter dividedthat give us our first look at the inside of the iPhone 13. According to the images, which probably show an iPhone 13 or even iPhone 13 mini, Apple has reduced the size of the Taptic Engine on this year's iPhone compared to the iPhone 12.

The downsizing was likely part of Apple's efforts to free up space inside the device to accommodate a larger battery. Apple boasts that the iPhone 13 has significantly longer battery life compared to its predecessor.
iPhone 13: Teardown will provide more details
This is due to the efficiency of the A15 Bionic chip and the larger battery, which the images also confirm. With the iPhone 13, Apple has reduced the notch by 20 percent.

The images show that Apple has moved the front camera to the left side of the TrueDepth camera system and the dot projector and infrared camera to the right side to reach the smaller notch. The images also prove that the earpiece has been moved to the top edge. There are probably other changes on the inside. But we will see these at the latest when the guys from iFixit carry out a professional teardown. (Image: Apple)
