Apple's Xcode database shows that the iPhone 13 models have the same RAM as the iPhone 12 series.
During research, MacRumors found code strings in the Xcode 13 Beta discoveredthat indicate the RAM of the iPhone 13. This information is never released directly by Apple. But the device simulator in Xcode needs a reference point to test apps. That is, according to Xcode, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have 4 GB of RAM while the two Pro models have a total of 6 GB of memory.
iPhone 13: Statements about A15 chip
The same code strings already revealed the RAM of the iPhone 12 and earlier models, so the data is most likely correct. Apple never aimed for high RAM in the iPhone due to the high efficiency of the A-series processors. Interestingly, the A15 processor is still a bit of a mystery in terms of its processing power. Instead of comparing the A15 to the A14 during the iPhone event, Apple said that the A15 50% has more power than the competition. This statement leaves a lot of room for speculation. Whatever. The new iPhone models can be pre-ordered from Apple starting September 17th. According to the company, delivery of the devices will start on September 24th. (Image: Apple)
