The iPhone 13 series will be officially available starting tomorrow. Anyone who pre-ordered early enough should receive their device during the course of tomorrow. Now a report has surfaced that questions compatibility with the MagSafe Duo charger - especially with the iPhone 13 Pro.
As the Spanish Apple blog La Manzana Mordida reported, one of his readers ordered an iPhone 13 Pro and an official Apple leather case. After the case arrived, Alejandro Parra tried to put it on his MagSafe Duo charger and found that the cutout for the camera module is too large - thus incompatible.

As you can see in the picture, the leather case interferes with placing the iPhone on the MagSafe Duo charger. iPhone 13 and 13 mini users will likely have no issues with the MagSafe Duo charger as the cutout for the camera module is smaller.
iPhone 13 Pro and MagSafe Duo: Compatible or not?
With the iPhone 13 Pro Max, however, this shouldn't be a problem either, as the device is much larger. Interestingly, this reminds us of a discovery that was made a few weeks ago. Apple, as some of you will remember, has submitted a new MagSafe charger to the FCC registered but not yet published. So could the iPhone 13 Pro be the reason for this? We will have certainty tomorrow at the earliest, when the first devices are delivered. But if the current MagSafe Duo charger is actually not compatible with the iPhone 13 Pro, it remains unclear why Apple has not yet updated the accessories. After all, this was also done directly with the Magic Keyboard in conjunction with the fifth generation iPad Pro, as some people will certainly still remember. (Image: Apple)
