Reports of reception problems with the iPhone 12 were already documented a few weeks ago. But the number of those affected seems to be increasing.
iPhone 12 owners are currently discussing a possible problem with the battery life. At the same time, however, there are also reports of reception problems. Complaints have been received in Apple's support forum as well as on Reddit and other platforms. However, it seems that not only the 5G coverage is affected, but also the LTE connection. According to the reports, the network suddenly disappears and the message "No network" appears. At the same time, however, those affected are in areas with good network coverage. The interesting thing is that other devices are not affected. Some users have compared several iPhones (same iOS version) and were only able to identify the problem on the iPhone 12.
Solution could be achieved via software update
Some users have contacted Apple technical support and their mobile phone provider. There are now indications that the iPhone 12 may have a problem switching between cell towers. Most users were able to temporarily solve the problem by turning airplane mode on and off. But this step does not help everyone. In this case, too, it can be assumed for the time being that the problem can be permanently solved by software. Apple itself has not yet made an official statement on the matter. The company has already identified three problems under iOS 14.2.1 (only available for iPhone 12 devices). fixed. Here again as a reminder. (Photo by N_Defender / Bigstockphoto)
