Apple will unveil the new iPhone generation in less than 24 hours. Now new icons have appeared on the iCloud website, showing the iPhone 12 with narrower bezels and a slightly shorter notch.
Apple already seems to be busy in the background making final preparations for the iPhone 12 debut. The iCloud website has also been updated and expanded with new icons. The company has actually placed four brand new icons that are supposed to show the iPhone 12 models. The icons discovered by @AppleSWUpdates were obtained by 9to5mac also be ensured.
iPhone 12: Has Apple narrowed the bezels?
Different to @AppleSWUpdates the US blog discovered the assets in better quality. Just a heads up - such icons are usually so small that details are difficult to see. These icons are shown in the "Find My" application, for example. But in this case, one particular detail stands out. If you compare the iPhone 12 icons with the two previous generations, you will notice that the edges of the new iPhone series look slightly narrower.

An optical illusion? Of course, that cannot be ruled out. As a reminder: The new smartphones will have a brand new design that is aligned with the iPad Pro. As a result, the edges could also have been changed. Since Apple will be introducing four devices in three sizes this year, one of which is 5.4 inches, it can be assumed that the so-called iPhone 12 mini will have a smaller notch anyway.

“Hi, Speed” event: Tomorrow evening we will have certainty
After all, the whole thing has to be adapted to the smaller display. As can be seen in the photo, the notch does seem to be slightly shorter in this case. However, it cannot be confirmed whether this is actually the iPhone 12 mini. Of course, it cannot be ruled out that these are placeholders. But it can be assumed that these are the "real" icons, since they can be found under the name "iPhone13,x". The 2019 icons, which stand for the iPhone 11 series, can be found under the name "iPhone12,x". Be that as it may, we will know more by tomorrow evening at the latest. The "Hi, Speed" event will be available in this country at 7 p.m. on Apple's website and YouTube. As always, we will report on every new development. (Image: Apple)
