The iPhone 12 mini and Pro Max have been on sale since Friday availableNow reports are being documented that the Mini model in particular is said to have touch problems.
The brand new 5.4-inch iPhone, which has been available since Friday, seems to have a touch problem. This is what various users report in MacRumors forum but also on Reddit, according to which certain inputs are not always registered. The problem occurs most frequently when users swipe up from the bottom edge of the lock screen to unlock the device. The flashlight or camera buttons are also affected. Accordingly, both swiping gestures and targeted pressing - on the lock screen - are not always recognized. Interestingly, the reports only ever refer to the iPhone 12 mini. Reports of other models have not yet been discovered.

iPhone 12 mini: Can an update solve the problem?
It is currently unclear whether this is a software or hardware problem. However, since the number of complaints has risen sharply within a very short period of time, it seems to be more extensive. There is still no consensus on what is causing the problem. For this reason, we can only speculate at the moment. If it is actually a software problem, Apple will fix it with an update. The iPhone 12 mini is available from 778.85 euros in black, white, red, blue and green. The storage variants available are 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB.
