The time has come. Starting today, the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro Max and HomePod mini can be pre-ordered from Apple.
In mid-October, Apple launched the iPhone 12 series and the HomePod mini in a brand new design presentedWhile the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are already on sale, the mini and Max versions can be pre-ordered from today. The new Siri speaker and matching iPhone 12 leather cases are also available now. All iPhone 12 versions have several things in common - one of them is the brand new design. Apple's new smartphone series now has an iPad Pro-like design. While the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 come with an aluminum frame, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max devices have a stainless steel component. According to Apple, all four devices have a new, more robust display with OLED technology - it goes by the name "Super Retina XDR". The company has not only improved the display but also strengthened the glass from which it is made. Here is an overview of all the specifications:

HomePod mini – small but nice
The brand new HomePod mini comes in a new spherical design and, like the classic version, is available in black and white. The new version of the Siri smart speaker also supports a stereo connection. This means that two HomePod mini devices can be connected to each other to ensure an even better sound experience. In addition, the cheaper version of Apple's speaker supports almost all of the features that the classic HomePod offers. Although the device is smaller than the HomePod introduced in 2017, the mini version also places a similar emphasis on high-quality playback in combination with standard audio hardware. One of the most important innovations of the HomePod mini is a new function that allows it to act as an ultra-wideband base station to better communicate with U1-equipped devices such as the iPhone (from 11th generation - except iPhone SE 2020) and the Apple Watch Series 6.
HomePod mini – price and availability
Like the standard HomePod, the 3.3-inch HomePod mini includes Apple audio features that allow it to deliver rich, vibrant sound quality. While it doesn't have quite the same parts list, it still has a dynamic full-range driver and two passive tweeters for bass reproduction. It also has an acoustic waveguide for 360-degree audio reproduction. The device is available for pre-order for €96.50, and shipping will begin on November 16.
