Apple released iOS 13.5 for all users at the end of May published and fixed some bugs and made some optimizations. But the update and the follow-up version iOS 13.5.1 does not seem to be error-free for every user.
Currently reports are being Reddit and in the MacRumors forum (via MacRumors) that some users of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max models complain about a green tint in the display. The problem seems to occur randomly after unlocking the device. However, there are also statements that the green tint can become visible when dark mode is activated. Another similarity can be found in the software version. Accordingly, the phenomenon seems to have occurred since iOS 13.5 and is still present under iOS 13.5.1.
iPhone 11: Can the green tint in the display be removed?
Therefore, it can currently be assumed that this is a software and not a hardware error. Those affected also report that there is currently no way to fix the error. This means that if the green tint is visible, users of an iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have to wait until it disappears again. The problem is, however, that it regularly recurs. So if it is actually a bug in the software - which is likely - Apple will fix the whole thing in a follow-up update. iOS 13.5.5 is currently available as beta available – whether the error is also present in this version has not yet been confirmed.
