The new iPad 10 lacks some display features that the iPad Air 5 has to offer.
The iPad 10 has a major design update experience. However, the device lacks some important display features that the iPad Air 5 has to offer. For example, it lacks the anti-reflective coating that helps minimize glare in light and it only supports sRGB colors and not the industry-wide standard P3 Wide Color. On its website, Apple lists the new entry-level iPad with the same Liquid Retina display as the fifth-generation iPad Air with a resolution of 2360 x 1640 pixels at 264 ppi (pixels per inch).
iPad 10: Apple is economical with the display
Unlike the iPad Air, however, the new entry-level iPad does not support P3 wide color, has no anti-reflective coating and, according to Apple, website no fully laminated display. The new entry-level iPad also does not support the second generation Apple Pencil, only the first generation Apple Pencil. Since the new iPad has a USB-C port, customers must use an adapter to charge their Apple Pencil with their iPad. Apple sells an adapter for 10 euros, but it is also included with the first generation Apple Pencil. (Image: Apple)
