WhatsApp is testing a new sticker suggestion feature on iOS, WABetaInfo reports. This will make it easier for WhatsApp users to find stickers to send to friends, family or colleagues.
Loud WABetaInfo This feature is under development and will be available in a future update for iOS and Android users.
WhatsApp is developing a feature that allows you to quickly search for stickers. The feature analyzes the first word typed in the chat bar. If it matches a sticker stored in your sticker library, a suggestion will be displayed.
WhatsApp: Third-party stickers are not compatible
When the user writes something like "sad" or "love," a sticker icon is displayed. When they tap the icon, all suggestions found in WhatsApp are presented. At the moment, according to WABetaInfo, this feature only works with official WhatsApp stickers. Third-party stickers created in other apps, for example, are not compatible with this feature. Later, WhatsApp will start testing ways to link emojis to stickers, as Apple already does with words and emojis in its keyboard. Other features being tested in the app include a new review tool for voice messages and the interoperability of Facebook Messenger with the app itself.
