Apple today released a major update for iMovie on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Some interesting new features have been added.
Apple today released a free update to iMovie for iOS, iPadOS and macOS. The update includes new filters, 25 new soundtracks and more. The macOS version has also received new filters and now has better integration with iMovie for iOS. For iPhone and iPad users, iMovie has three new filters that give videos "a hand-drawn look". There are also 25 new soundtracks to choose from, as well as a variety of bug fixes and performance improvements.
Update description iMovie version 2.2.10 for iOS and iPadOS:
- 3 new filters to make videos look hand-painted: “Comic”, “Comic – mono” and “Ink”
- Choose from 25 new soundtracks that automatically adjust to the length of your movie - from genres such as "Action", "Relaxing" and "Sentimental"
- Fixed an issue where the viewer might stop updating after duplicating a photo in the timeline
- Improved the reliability of "undo" when editing trailers
- performance and stability improvements
Update description iMovie version 10.1.15 for macOS:
- With 5 new filters, your films appear as if they were hand-drawn: "Comic", "Comic - mono", "Comic - old-fashioned", "Comic - sepia" and "Ink"
- Import iMovie for iOS projects with support for Comic, Comic Mono, and Ink filters
- Overall improved stability
