For users of the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16 brings new features to the Camera app.
On the iOS 16 product page explained Apple announced that there are two new iPhone 13-exclusive features for Portrait photos and Cinematic mode. In Portrait mode, iOS 16 lets you blur objects in the foreground of a photo to create a more realistic depth of field effect, rather than just blurring the background.

In Cinema mode, the quality of the blur has also been improved. According to Apple, the depth of field effect when recording videos in Cinema mode is now more accurate for profile angles and around the edges of hair and glasses. These two new camera features are currently only available for the iPhone 13. But the iPhone 14 will likely support these innovations as well. (Photo by Eremin / Bigstockphoto)
