The next big iPhone update is called iOS 16 and brings with it a lot of new features and changes. Apple has now announced the official launch.
For example, iOS 16 allows you to customize the lock screen, offers valuable new features for iMessage, Mail and Photos, the ability to use the iPhone as a webcam for the Mac and much more. Apple launched the iOS 16 developer beta directly after the WWDC keynote in June and released the first public beta on July 11. We have now reached the end of the beta phase.
iOS 16 will be released next week
According to Apple, iOS 16, watchOS 9 and tvOS 16 will be released to all users on Monday, September 12. iPadOS 16, on the other hand, has already been postponed and is expected to be released in October in the form of iPadOS 16.1. The reason for the delays are bugs in the Stage Manager, as Apple has already explained. Whether your device is compatible with the new software is compatible, you can find out here.
