With the iOS 16.5 beta, Apple is working on improving the functionality of Siri. There is a new option to start a screen recording with the voice assistant.
As the US blog 9to5Mac reported, you can now say "Hey Siri, start screen recording" to use the screenshot feature. This command will automatically record the iPhone's screen on video until you turn it off by tapping it or activate Siri and say "Stop screen recording." Note that the screen recording command needs to be very specific, as something like "take a screenshot" will result in a screenshot rather than a video recording.
iOS 16.5 Beta 1: Apple gives Siri a new feature
Siri has been able to take a standard screenshot for a while, but the screen recording feature is definitely new in this beta. When you ask Siri for a screen recording in previous versions of iOS, the voice assistant will perform a web search or tell you that you don't have a corresponding app installed. iOS 16.5 was made available to developers on Tuesday evening and should be rolled out to public beta testers later this week. In addition to Siri's screenshot feature, Apple has also added a sports tab in the Apple News app. (Photo by ms_pics_and_more / Bigstockphoto)
