iOS 16.3 update description
This update includes the following improvements and bug fixes:
- The new Unity wallpaper celebrates black history and culture in celebration of Black History Month.
- Apple ID Security Keys allow users to increase the security of their account by requiring a physical security key as part of two-factor authentication when signing in to new devices.
- Support for HomePod (2nd generation).
- SOS emergency calls now require the side button to be pressed and released with the volume up or down button to avoid accidental emergency calls.
- Fixes an issue in Freeform where some strokes made with Apple Pencil or finger did not appear on shared whiteboards.
- Fixes an issue that may cause the lock screen background image to appear black.
- Fixes an issue where horizontal lines may temporarily appear when waking iPhone 14 Pro Max
- Fixes an issue that causes the Home lock screen widget to not correctly display the Home app status.
- Fixes an issue that may prevent Siri from responding correctly to music requests
- Fixes an issue that may cause Siri requests in CarPlay to not be understood correctly.
