As expected, Apple released the eighth beta of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15 to registered developers this evening.
Apple officially switched to the weekly update rhythm two weeks ago and has now released the eighth beta of iOS 15, iPadOS 15 and more publishediOS 15 and Co. will be available to all users for free download next month, at the same time as new hardware such as the "iPhone 13" and will bring with it a multitude of new features and other improvements.
iOS 15: Seventh beta focused on bug fixes
The seventh beta of iOS 15 has mostly fixed bugs and improved stability. In terms of new features, there was hardly anything worth reporting. Last week, Apple officially released the iCloud Private Relay activated, a feature that has not been publicly available until now. As a reminder, iCloud Private Relay is a service designed to ensure that Safari traffic leaving an iPhone, iPad, or Mac is encrypted by two separate internet relays, so that companies cannot use personal information such as IP address, location, and browsing activity to create detailed profiles of Apple device users. If there is anything worth mentioning in the eighth beta, we will of course report on it as usual.
Beta note:
As usual, a preview should not be installed on an actively used device, as they are usually quite unstable and prone to errors - we recommend a second device for this. (Photo by Photonphoto / Bigstockphoto)
