Apple has now officially released the second beta of iOS 14.4, iPadOS 14.4, tvOS 14.4, macOS Big Sur 11.2 and watchOS 7.3 to all registered developers.
Apple launched a new beta phase in mid-December and released iOS 14.4, iPadOS 14.4, tvOS 14.4, macOS Big Sur 11.2 and watchOS 7.3. The versions have now been updated. You can download them as usual over-the-air or alternatively via the Developer Center downloaded Under iOS 14.4, the improved handoff experience between HomePod mini and the iPhone 12 based on the U1 chip is sufficient. The next iOS version will also introduce the much-discussed advertising tracking feature. This is intended to give users the opportunity to decide for themselves whether they want to see personalized advertising. If anything worth mentioning appears in the new version, we will report on it as usual.
- Advertising tracking: Feature appears under iOS 14.4
- iOS 14.4: New Handoff experience with HomePod mini
Notice – As usual, a preview should not be installed on an actively used iPhone or iPad, as these are usually quite unstable and buggy – we recommend using a second device for this. AirPods Pro on special offer at Amazon – available now. (Photo by Denys Prykhodov / Bigstockphoto)
