Apple released iOS 14.1 to all users about a week ago. Now the company has stopped signing iOS 14.0.1.
When Apple stops signing an iOS version, it means that users are no longer able to upgrade to the previous version via PC or Mac. Like other iOS updates, iOS 14.1 brings a number of security improvements by fixing various vulnerabilities. Such security holes make devices vulnerable and also enable jailbreaking. For this reason, Apple will stop signing older iOS versions in a timely manner. With iOS 14.1, users also get support for the new HomePod mini and other improvements in the Home app. In addition, bugs have been fixed and performance improved in this version, including problems with widgets, emails and more. Below you will find the full update description in full.
