The launch of iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 was an adventure for all iPhone and iPad users. But Apple seems to have slowly gotten the numerous problems under control - except for the "Personal Hotspot" function. This bug is still with us.
Some iPhone and iPad users have been having problems with the "Personal Hotspot" since the launch of iOS 13. The feature doesn't seem to work at all for many users, while others have to deal with constant connection interruptions. Now, however, Apple claims to have recognized the problem. This is what the US blog reports MacRumors, according to which Apple has informed the authorized service providers that problems with "Personal Hotspot" are a software-related issue and not the fault of the respective hardware.
Will iOS 13.4 help?
According to the memo, the service partners should only recommend restarting the function and not replace the hardware. It is now suspected that a bug fix will be implemented via an update. However, it is unclear whether the corresponding adjustment will already be submitted under iOS 13.4. Apple recently released the Golden Master version of iOS 13.4 (released for all users on March 24th) for developers, but the problem was not mentioned in it. This means that the whole thing could only be added in a subsequent update. Anyone who has hotspot problems should turn the function off and on again. If this is not enough, restarting the device should help. Have you had problems with the hotspot function so far? Write to us in the comments. (Photo by Fedcophoto / Bigstockphoto)
