Apple today announced the fourth generation of the iPad Pro with a new Magic Keyboard and new MacBook Air models via press releases – the trackpad support under iPadOS 13.4 is the highlight.
Apple has introduced a brand new iPad Pro that corresponds to most of the rumors. But in addition to the new camera with LiDAR scanner, the trackpad support is causing a lot of discussion. According to Apple, this was not adopted from macOS but designed from the ground up for the iPad. One thing that is particularly noteworthy is that older iPad models can access the Magic Trackpad or a Magic Mouse via Bluetooth from iPadOS 13.4 (applies to all devices that support iPadOS 13.4) and use the feature. But there is also new accessories - the Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro 2020. It includes a backlit keyboard and an integrated trackpad. What's cool is that it is also compatible with the iPad Pro 2018.
iOS 13.4 – Apple announces release date
According to Apple, the feature will provide a completely new user experience. However, the Magic Keyboard is not very cheap. Anyone who wants the brand new accessory will have to pay a total of 339 euros or 399 euros - depending on the size. Delivery will take place sometime in May. As part of the announcement, a release date for iOS 13.4 or iPadOS 13.4 was also revealed. Accordingly, the new iPhone or iPad operating system will be released on March 24, 2020. In addition to trackpad support, the new iOS version includes iCloud folder sharing, new Memoji stickers, changes to the TV app and more. (Image: Apple)
