On May 20, Apple released iOS 13.5 and iPadOS 13.5 for all users publishedBut the update seems to have an annoying bug that was already reported under iOS 13.4.1.
On Apple's support page For several weeks, users have been reporting a strange phenomenon that they have observed on their iPad Pro devices. According to this, the tablets have repeatedly fallen into a boot loop since iOS 13.4.1 or iPadOS 13.4.1. This means that some iPad Pro models suddenly restart several times in a row. While some users have observed the problem when running apps, the whole thing also happened directly after the device was unlocked, as has been reported in isolated cases. According to some statements, Apple Support was unable to identify the problem.
There is no statement yet
The bug does not seem to disappear with a restart or a factory reset. It is also interesting that the problem has apparently not been fixed in iOS 13.5. The number of complaints is currently low - but it cannot be ruled out that more users are affected than has been documented so far, as the whole thing already extends over two software versions. According to the reports, the error only seems to occur in iPad Pro 10.5 and 11-inch models. However, it is not known whether Apple is working on a patch, as there has been no statement on this so far. The cause may still have to be identified. As soon as there is new information, we will report on it as usual. (Photo by xMarshall / Bigstockphoto)
