The new iOS 12 update will bring some new features. Bugs will be fixed and new functions will be enabled.
Apple announced the release of iOS 12.1 today via press release. Fans can therefore look forward to more than just new hardware.
Over 70 new emojis
The new features include the activation of the eSim in the new iPhones, real-time depth of field control for portrait photos and group Facetime function. Up to 32 people can take part in the video or audio chat. Based on Unicode 11.0, there are also over 70 new emojis. The new faces will also be available in different variations, including a party smiley, a shaking emoji, another with a puppy dog look and a heartily laughing face. Do you like cupcakes? The release for download of iOS 12.1 is expected in the afternoon or early evening.
