Many users like to write in iMessage and like to use emojis. Anyone who wanted to send GIFs had to do without them in Apple's messenger service.
Now that is changing. The iGroup has today released the GIF search integrated into iOS in other countries, including Germany. According to Apple, the selection of wobbly picture by the popularity and message content of the user.
The GIFs can be sent via iMessage or saved in iOS's own photo library. The search function accesses several GIF providers, including Giphy, Gfycat and GIF Keyboard.
The feature is not new - it was originally introduced with iOS 10. It is unclear why we had to wait so long. It may have taken more time to adapt the text analysis for other languages. There is also an integrated filter function that hides unwanted content.

– select a conversation
– tap the store icon at the bottom left
– then select the red button
